
The round table discussion on the theme ««The native land is a golden cradle»

On 14 February 2025, teachers of Foreign Languages Department of the Faculty of Philology – PhD, Assistant Professor Shakhputova Z.Kh., Masters Nurdybaeva A.K. and Otyzbayeva K.Zh. held a round table discussion on the theme ««The native land is a golden cradle» with students of groups ‘Mathematics’-101,103,105 and ‘Electricity’-12.
The goal of the round table is to foster deep patriotism among students, instill an awareness of the value of their homeland, its culture, and history, as well as to develop civic responsibility and encourage active youth participation in preserving and promoting national heritage. The event aims to nurture personalities who are able not only love their country but also contribute to its future through knowledge, initiative, and a commitment to societal development.
The event comprised three main stages. In the first part, entitled 'Native Land is a Sacred Place', students presented engaging presentations about the unique landmarks and picturesque nature of their homeland. The second part titled "Golden Cradle," featured students sharing historical insights about their native regions, including the origins of place names. During the discussion, participants reflected on ways to express love for their homeland and how young people can contribute to its development. They actively exchanged ideas, proposed effective solutions to the challenges faced by their homeland. The third stage of the round table was the most exciting. Students and teachers took part in the "Know Your Homeland" intellectual quiz, where they tested their knowledge and discovered new fascinating facts. Following the quiz, participants and guests engaged in a discussion, wherein they shared their impressions and conclusions.The event was characterised by a cordial atmosphere, leaving a lasting impression on all those present.
