
Turlybek Mameseit's book "Tau Minezi" presented at ENU

The Eurasian National University hosted a presentation of the book "Tau Minezi" by the Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, winner of “Alash” international prize, scientist, Candidate of Philology Turlybek Mameseit.
ENU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ardak Beisenbai focused on the writer's life and work, and also said that master’s and doctoral students of the university will research works and defend their dissertations on the critic, writer and playwright Turlybek Mameseit.
The presentation of the book was attended by Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sherubai Kurmanbaiuly, director of the branch of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, Editor-in-Chief of “Turkistan” newspaper Bauyrzhan Babazhanuly, writers Tolymbek Abdrayim, Oraz Kaugabai, Dean of the ENU’s Faculty of Philology Serikzat Duisengazy.
"The book "Tau Minezi" attracts with its authenticity and the fact that, in accordance with the epoch, the complex life stages and destinies of ordinary peoples living in mountainous areas and in border regions are intertwined in it. In addition, it artistically depicts a person's longing and love for his native land, his devotion to his motherland, the orders of his ancestors. Besides, Turlybek aga’s contribution to the prosperity of Astana is countless, I believe that in the future we will work with you to ensure that the writer's name lives forever," Zhanarbek Ashimzhan, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of RK said.
The intelligentsia representatives who spoke at the presentation noted that in the book the nature of the native land was conveyed with special trepidation in artistic and rich language.
"This book artfully describes the influence of the mysteries of nature and unexpected phenomena on humans. The peculiarity of this creative work lies in the fact that it beautifully describes the connection of natural phenomena with human mood and fate. I think that master’s and doctoral students of the Eurasian National University will take this into account during their research," poet, member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan Nurlan Kalka said.
Students of the Faculty of Philology read excerpts from the book. The participants of the event were also shown the documentary "Khan Tanirinen Kanat Kakkan", as well as performances by the writer himself.
At the end of the event, moderated by ENU scientist Rakhymzhan Turysbek, Turlybek Mameseit’s widow Gulnar Mamayeva thanked the audience.
