ENU students gained practical experience in their specialty at enterprises and organizations in the capital

Fourth-year students of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University completed their industrial internship from January 13 to February 22. During this period, they had the opportunity to gain practical experience in their field and reinforce their theoretical knowledge in real working conditions.
During the internship, students worked in various institutions and organizations, improving their professional skills. Their activities were organized in accordance with the specifics of the chosen industry and were aimed at performing practical tasks and professional responsibilities.
From February 11 to February 14, 2024, specialists from the university’s Career and Business Partnership Department monitored the progress of the industrial internship according to the inspection schedule for the 2024-2025 academic year. This initiative was organized to assess students' professional experience, analyze how they apply their acquired knowledge in practice, and verify the compliance of internship placements.
The internship took place in various institutions and enterprises. Students worked in educational organizations, government and private companies, industrial enterprises, and research centers. During the inspection, specialists examined the alignment of students' work with the internship program, the level of their professional skills development, and feedback from employers.
The inspection results showed that most students demonstrated enthusiasm during their industrial internship and effectively fulfilled their assigned tasks. Employers highly appreciated the students' responsibility and initiative, noting their strong level of professional training. Additionally, some internship sites provided students with extra practical tasks and projects, further enhancing their skills.
The Career and Business Partnership Department plans to develop recommendations for improving the student internship experience, considering the identified positive and negative factors. The university administration aims to further enhance the quality of industrial internships, create favorable conditions for students’ professional development, and strengthen collaboration with employers.
The results of this inspection once again confirmed the need to adapt the university's educational programs to the demands of the labor market. Providing students with a full opportunity to consolidate their acquired knowledge and develop professional skills through industrial internships remains one of the university’s top priorities.
Industrial internships are a crucial stage for students in gaining experience necessary for their future professional careers. The university administration and faculty members create conditions for the successful completion of internships, helping graduates become competitive professionals in the job market.
This experience expands students' employment opportunities and gives a significant boost to their professional growth.
