An intellectual language competition was held at the ENU branch in Kyrgyzstan

In order to develop intercultural communication, popularize multilingualism among young people, and create a language environment, an intellectual language competition «Know the language of seven nations, know seven different sciences» was held at the L.N. Gumilyov ENU branch at Osh State University.

First-year students of the double diploma program took part in it, and the teams were formed from the following languages: «Parasat» – Kazakh, «Til Kazynasy» – Kyrgyz, «Navoi Avlodlari» – Uzbek, «Golden Pen» – Russian, «Talk Titans» – English, «Gedankenmagie» – German.

The competition consisted of 5 stages: «Greetings», «In the world of poetry», «Learning a language is an art», «National code, traditions and customs» and «Smart and resourceful».

Based on the results of the competition, the following places were awarded: 1st place «Navoi avlodlari» – Uzbek language, 2nd place «Parasat» – Kazakh language, «Golden Pen» – Russian language, 3rd place «Til kazynasy» – Kyrgyz language, «Talk Titans» – English language, «Gedankenmagie» – German language. The teams that took part in the competition were also awarded in the nominations «Best Poetry» – «Navoi avlodlari», «Best National Costume» – «Golden Pen», «Best Episode» – «Kolomto», «Creative Team» – «Al liquindoi» and were awarded diplomas and prizes.

Branch Director Ainur Naimanbay summed up the results of the language competition aimed at preserving the unity and culture of languages, friendship and solidarity between peoples, thanked the participants, congratulated them on the spring holiday and encouraged them to continue to improve and learn more languages.
