World Water Day

March 22 is World Water Day. This Day has been celebrated annually since 1993, in accordance with the recommendations of the United Nations Conference.
Students of the 2nd year of the educational program 6B05210-Hydrology contributed to the celebration of their professional holiday by holding the "World Water Day" event. The event was attended by students and teachers of the Department of Physical and Economic Geography of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov. Students presented to the attention of the participants a presentation and a video about their student life, achievements, new events in the field of water resources, and also held a quiz on knowledge of hydrology. At the conclusion of the event, the students thanked the faculty for their work and the knowledge they provide to the students.
And also on the eve of the International Day of Water Resources, letters of thanks were sent to Kakhvodkhoz, the Esil Basin Inspectorate, and the K. Satpayev Canal branch.
