43 ENU education programs are in the TOP 3 of “Atameken” NCE rating

According to the results of the rating of education programs of Kazakhstani universities, 43 ENU education programs were included in the TOP 3, which is the best indicator among the republican universities. Today, the Eurasian National University hosted an awards ceremony for the heads of departments implementing education programs who won prizes based on the results of the Atameken NCE rating for 2024.

The award ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Zhaksybek Kulekeyev, members of ENU’s Board of Directors, Deputy Director of the Human Capital Development Department of the “Atameken” National Chamber of Entrepreneurs Lyazat Shonayeva and expert of the Department of NCE Daniyar Zhumatayev.

It is worth noting that ENU improves the quality of education programs from year to year. So, last year, 11 education programs successfully passed the international accreditation of the ACQUIN Foreign Accreditation Agency and were accredited for 6 years, that is, for a full term, by the decision of the Accreditation Council dated March 10, 2025. This is a very large-scale success of departments implementing education programs, and evidence of high quality.

Another achievement of this year is that 21 education programs of our university were among the best in the world ranking of subject education according to the Word University Rankings by Subject, including the TOP 200, such EP as "Hotel and Leisure Management", "Archeology", "English Language and Literature", "Linguistics", "Arts and Humanities", "History".

Education programs "6B01717 –Kazakh Language and Literature" and "6B01511 –Computer Science" have consistently occupied 1st place since 2021, "6B02307 – Translation Studies", "6B03102 – International Relations", “6B01408 – Physical Training and Sports", “6B03101 – Sociology", “6B05301 – Applied Chemistry", “6B07352 – Engineering Systems and Networks", “6B07352 – "Production of Building Materials, Products and Structures" and “6B07322 – Industrial and Civil Engineering", “6B06105 – Mathematical and Computer Modeling" show high achievements.

Also this year, “6B01510 – Physics Teacher Training", “6B05323 – Technical Physics", “6B05401 – Mathematics", “6B04103 – State and Local Government", “6B03106 – Political Science", “6B02120 – Graphic Design" and “6B02121 – Architectural Design" and other education programs were among the the best.

ENU's education programs participate annually in the “Atameken” NCE rating, and the share of programs in the TOP 3 is constantly increasing. This information is of particular importance in the context of the university's participation in the National Ranking conducted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in recent years.

Deputy Director of the Human Capital Development Department of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Lyazat Shonayeva, on behalf of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, thanked Gulzhanar Abdykulova, Head of ENU’s Accreditation and Rating Department, for her active assistance in collecting data on the rating of education programs conducted in 2024.
