The XI Eurasian Olympiad on Accounting for students of higher educational institutions titled "Accounting Around Us"

From March 27 to 28, the XI Eurasian Olympiad on Accounting for students of higher educational institutions titled "Accounting Around Us" was held in Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation, at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia named after P. Lumumba. Five students from our university participated:  
- Uzakbaeva Symbat, 4th year  
- Kabdrahmetova Aigerim, 3rd year  
- Duyssen Diana, 3rd year  
- Nurlankyzy Aizada, 3rd year  
- Musina Alina, 3rd year
Our students not only participated but also won prizes. The Olympiad consisted of two rounds. The first round was an individual test, where each student demonstrated their knowledge of accounting. The second round was a team creative contest, where the participants showcased their abilities by combining accounting and International Financial Reporting Standards, presenting the well-known fairy tale "Doctor Aybolit".

Regarding the prize places, in the first round, 3rd-year student Kabdrahmetova Aigerim took 1st place. In the second round, the team from Eurasian National University won 2nd place. The Olympiad participants received certificates and diplomas, as well as gifts with the Olympiad logo, such as T-shirts and bags. In addition, excursions around the city were organized for the participants. Our students are very happy that they had the opportunity to participate in the Olympiad, and it left a memorable impression on them.
