On April 11, 2025, the 20th International Scientific Conference "GYLYM JANE BILIM - 2025" for students, master's students, doctoral students and young scientists was held at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. Students and young scientists of the educational program “6B02209 – Oriental Studies” presented their reports.

On April 11, 2025, the 20th International Scientific Conference "GYLYM JANE BILIM - 2025" for students, master's students, doctoral students and young scientists was held at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. Students and young scientists of the educational program “6B02209 – Oriental Studies” presented their reports. Exchanged views on various scientific topics within the framework of the history and culture of the countries of the East: intercivilizational relations.

In total, 51 scientific articles were submitted to the conference collection. Chairperson - Birimkulova G.U. - Head of the Department of Oriental Studies, Acting Associate Professor, PhD. Members of the Commission: Abzhapparova B.Zh. - Professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences; Ilyasova K.M. - Associate Professor, Candidate of Historical Sciences; Azmukhanova A.M. - Associate Professor, Candidate of Historical Sciences; Secretary - Shaken N.R. - Senior Lecturer, Master.

After hearing the reports of all the participants of the scientific conference, the chairman and members of the commission awarded the young scientists. The first place was taken by the 2nd year student of the Department of Oriental Studies Seilkanov Nurasyl. The second place was taken by Serik Adilet and Abiken Azhar. The third place was taken by Maksotova Sabira and Altynbek Nazerke. In addition, 1 student and 2 master's students – Bazarbek Ainarbek, Aldiyarov Shyngyskhan and Sadyk Meruert - were awarded Letters of Gratitude.
