The opening of the Green Office took place in ENU

The university has officially launched a new eco-friendly space — the Green Office, developed as part of its sustainable development strategy. The project aims to foster a culture of environmentally conscious living, support green initiatives, and encourage responsible attitudes toward nature among students, faculty, and staff.
The Green Office represents a significant step in the university’s environmental transformation, focused on creating a safe, comfortable, and sustainable educational environment where everyone can contribute.
Key areas of the Green Office’s activities include:
- promoting waste separation and recycling culture;
- reducing paper and plastic consumption;
- greening the campus;
- organizing environmental campaigns, seminars, and educational programs.
“The Green Office is not just a space, it is a platform for ideas that brings together everyone who wants to make university life more sustainable and eco-conscious. We welcome initiatives and invite everyone to join the project,” said Duman Aitmagambetov, Member of the Board — Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization.
The office will serve as an open space for communication, collaboration, and joint initiatives among students, faculty, and all those who care about ecology and sustainability.
