President congratulated ENU Professor Serik Negimov on his anniversary

Today, President of RK Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev congratulated ENU Professor Serik Nagimov on his 75th birthday.

The congratulatory address of the Head of State was presented by Vice-Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuanysh Yergaliyev.

“For more than half a century of work, you have made a significant contribution to the rise of the native literary science to a new milestone.

You have comprehensively studied and passed on to the contemporary generation, revealing the philosophical meaning and content of the source of national cultural wealth – the noble heritage left by Kazakh zhyrshy-zhyrau, biys, orators.

Углубившись в поэзию современных поэтов, вы смогли показать теорию и художественный характер стихотворения, - сказано в поздравительном адресе  Президента РК.

In addition, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek sent a congratulatory address to the famous scientist.

ENU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Serik Makysh bestowed on the hero of the day the highest award of the university – the Lev Gumilyov Medal.

Serik Negimov has been working at the Eurasian National University since 2005. Over the years, the scientist has trained more than a thousand students. Thanks to his painstaking work, the research institute at the University “Abai Akademiyasy” has published new books.  

Doctor of Philology Serik Nygmetollauly has published about 400 scientific, literary and critical articles and reviews for his professional activity. The scientist has been working in the field of national poetics, poetry of akyns and zhyrau, modern Kazakh lyrics, rhetoric.
