
Main Trends in the Development of Creative Industries in Modern Mass Media Discussed by Domestic and Foreign Experts at ENU















An International Scientific and Practical Conference "Creative Industries in the 21st Century: Genesis, Media Programs, Educational Issues" was held at The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Club of Editors-in-Chief of Kazakhstan.
The conference is dedicated to the anniversary of Asima Ishanova, an experienced teacher, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Printing and Publishing Department, the Faculty of Journalism and Social Sciences, The L.N.Gumilyov ENU.
The event was moderated by Nurzhan Kuantaev, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Social Sciences of the ENU.
On behalf of Rector of The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University Yerlan Sydykov, ENU Vice Rector for Social and Cultural Development Lyazzat Tolegenkyzy read a congratulatory letter to the hero of the day.:
“Dear Asima Kalymovna! The staff of The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University knows you as a renowned scientist, qualified teacher, experienced mentor, equally proficient in the art of literary criticism and journalism, who has achieved significant success in both fields.
You have made an invaluable contribution to the spiritual growth and prosperity of our country by guiding aspiring young people in the field of journalism, contributing to the defense of diploma, master's and doctoral theses, providing education and inspiring them to pursue a creative path. Your students, having improved their knowledge and skills, are now working fruitfully in various spheres of society both in the near and far abroad. This is the fruit of your many years of hard work.”

Your hard work has been recognized, and you have been named the best teacher at your university. Your achievements in science will undoubtedly always serve as a role model for young scientists."
Professor Sauytbek Abdrakhmanov, deputy of the V convocation of the Mazhilis Tursunbek Omurzakov, Associate Professor of the Graduate School of Industrial Management at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (Russia) Olga Yergunova, Head of the Research Center for Digital Humanities at Heilongjiang University (Harbin, China) Irina Karabulatova, President of the Club of Editors-in-Chief of Kazakhstan Bibigul Zheksenbai, General Director of the Television and Radio Complex of the President of RK Raushan Kazhibayeva, Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper "LITER" Zhanna Oishibayeva, representatives of the Kazakhstani and international scientific communities, university professors, heads of mass media, representatives of the media industry, colleagues, and students congratulated the hero of the day.
She is one of the most qualified and unique specialists in the field of literary studies, art media and art history in our country, and continues to present her fundamental scientific works to the attention of the scientific community around the world.
The conference was also attended by young researchers – doctoral students, undergraduates, university students.
The conference continued in three thematic sections, where participants discussed topical issues of journalism and literary studies, cultural, social, ethical and philosophical problems and trends in the development of modern mass media.
It should be noted that Asima Ishanova is a graduate of Karaganda State University, N.K.Krupskaya Moscow Regional Pedagogical Institute, graduated from the Graduate School of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
A. Ishanova is the author of 4 monographs, 3 textbooks, and more than 300 scientific publications on literary studies and journalism, including more than a dozen articles indexed in “Scopus” and “Web Science” scientometric databases. Her scientific articles have been published in Italy, USA, China, Russia, Japan, Spain, and Armenia. Some scientific papers have been translated into English and Hungarian.
