
17 teams from the regions of Kazakhstan took part in the Olympiad in pedagogy and psychology at ENU
The XVII Republican Subject Olympiad in the educational program “Pedagogy and Psychology” was held at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Astana.
Welcoming the participants of the Olympiad, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ardak Beysenbai stressed the importance of such events for the formation of professional and personal qualities of future teachers and psychologists.
The main goal of the Olympiad was to develop students’ research and creative potential. Key objectives included fostering research skills, creative thinking, communicative competence, and leadership qualities.
The Olympiad consisted of three stages:
- Introduction of universities and team members (home assignment);
- Presentation and defense of research projects on topics such as: the national model of a modern teacher-psychologist, bullying prevention, artificial intelligence, and the creation of a supportive educational environment;
- Testing of basic knowledge in pedagogical and psychological sciences.
Seventeen teams from various regions of Kazakhstan took part in the event. The following teams were recognized as winners:
1st place – “MINDBLOOM” team from Karaganda University named after Academician E.B. Buketov;
2nd place – “Daryn” team from Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University and “MIND LAD” team from A. Margulan Pavlodar Pedagogical University;
3rd place – “Akyl Aynasy” from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, “RE MIND” from Uzbekali Zhanibekov South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University, and “SOUL LIGHT” from Sh. Murtaza International Taraz Innovation Institute.
The Olympiad served as a dynamic platform where knowledge met practice, new ideas emerged, and future leaders of education were revealed. Events like this play a crucial role in students’ professional development and inspire continued growth.
