A second-year student from the Department of Standardization, Certification, and Metrology at the Transport and Energy Faculty of ENU, Zhannur Aukenova, has completed her academic mobility program in South Korea. She studied at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Global Campus as part of her academic mobility, starting from February 2023.

According to Zhannur, "South Korea is a popular destination for academic mobility due to its high level of education and modern educational institutions. Many international students choose this country to pursue education and explore its culture, language, and developing industries.
"Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Global Campus (HUFS Global Campus) is one of the prestigious universities in South Korea, known for its unique focus on foreign languages and cultures.
"My academic mobility experience in South Korea was unforgettable and inspiring. I decided to seize this opportunity to broaden my horizons and immerse myself in a new culture and educational system," she noted.
The first thing that impressed Zhannur in South Korea was the high level of education and the academic reputation of the universities.
"I chose a university in Seoul for my academic mobility, and I didn't regret my choice. The professors were highly qualified and approachable. I had the opportunity to work with leading professors in my field and learn new teaching methods," added the ENU student.
Zhannur was impressed by the diversity of subjects available for study. She could choose courses related to her specialization and explore new subjects. This allowed her to expand her knowledge and skills and become more competent.
"I fully immersed myself in Korean culture and way of life: I studied the Korean language, participated in cultural events, traveled around the country, visited museums, parks, and other attractions, tried local cuisine, and made friends from different countries.
"Life was very enriching and interesting. I lived in a dormitory where I had the opportunity to interact with other students and participate in various student clubs.
"Overall, my time in South Korea was unforgettable and full of new opportunities. I received a high-quality education, expanded my knowledge and skills, immersed myself in Korean culture, and formed long-lasting friendships.
