
The Policy of Continuing Education of ENU has been approved

At the meeting of the Board of Directors of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, the Policy of Continuing Education of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU was approved, aimed at creating a system of continuing education that ensures the continuous development of professional and personal competencies of citizens throughout their lives, with the possibility of freely choosing an individual educational trajectory.
The document establishes the principles, goals and mechanisms for the development of the continuing education system at ENU, focused on modern challenges, the needs of the digital economy and the requirements of the labor market.
Key areas:
- Accessibility of education is the expansion of opportunities for all categories of citizens, including vulnerable groups.
- Program flexibility is adapting the content and formats of training to individual trajectories and market needs.
- 3. Popularization of lifelong learning is the formation of a culture of continuous self- development.
- International cooperation is exchange of experience, joint programs, recognition of qualifications.
- Digital educational environment is development of online courses, platforms and digital services.
- Inclusion and sustainable development is ensuring equal conditions and environmental friendliness of educational solutions.
The implementation will be ensured by:
- Institutional development - regulatory and organizational support;
- Modern technologies, including AI, online learning, and data analytics;
- Оrientation to the labor market - taking into account relevant competencies and professional standards;
- Quality monitoring - evaluating the effectiveness of programs and the satisfaction of participants.
The adoption of the Policy was an important step in the transformation of the university into a lifelong learning center and meets the objectives of the Concept for the Development of Higher Education and Science in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2029, approved by the decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The policy of continuing education is a strategic direction of the University's development. It is subject to regular review and improvement in accordance with changes in the educational environment, the requirements of employers and the needs of society.
The success of implementing this Policy requires close cooperation with industrial partners, national and international organizations. This will allow the Institute of Continuing Education not only to improve the quality of educational services, but also to contribute to the development of a sustainable economy and social stability of the country.
