Visit of ENU Representatives to the Netherlands within the Erasmus+ KA171 Program

Representatives of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University participated in the International Week as part of the Erasmus+ KA171 program in the Netherlands.

At the invitation of the Rector of the Netherlands Business Academy, Professor Jan van Zwijten, from April 28 to May 2, 2025, a delegation from the Eurasian National University, including members of the Board of Directors – independent members Aidyn Abay and Bakhytzhan Akan, Corporate Secretary Madiyar Orynbayev, and the Director of the Eurasian Netherlands Business School Armiya Nurmagambetova – took part in the International Week under the Erasmus+ KA171 program.

The event was held in Dordrecht at the Netherlands Business Academy and brought together representatives of universities from Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Ukraine. The training focused on modern approaches to management and leadership in higher education. 

Key topics of the program:

• The Dutch education system (lectures and discussions with NLBA faculty);
• Teaching methods at the Police Academy (Apeldoorn);
• An educational innovation session by Sven Buergers;
• Leadership in education – lectures and workshops by Prof. Jan van Zwijten and the NLBA team.

The program also included a teambuilding session to encourage informal communication, experience exchange, and the strengthening of professional ties among participants from various countries.

Participation in the program enhanced academic collaboration with NLBA and outlined future cooperation areas, including joint educational initiatives, research projects, and the development of international mobility.
