Educational and Practical Event for School Students at the Department of Chemistry of L.N. Gumilyov ENU

On May 15, 2025, the Department of Chemistry at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University organized an educational and practical event for school students. The aim of the event was to enhance students’ research potential, spark interest in chemical science, and support professional orientation.
Teachers and students from Astana's schools №108, №27, №76, №5 actively participated in the event.
As part of the program, senior lecturer of the Chemistry Department, PhD Tosmaganbetova K.S., conducted a master class titled “Solving Experimental Problems” in Chemistry Laboratory №155. During the session, students learned to work with laboratory equipment and improved their problem-solving skills through practical experiments.
Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry, Candidate of Chemical Sciences Suyundikova F.O., gave students detailed information about the structure and future prospects of the department's educational programs and held a career guidance session.
Additionally, third-year chemistry students Masagutov T. and Votchel D. presented a series of fascinating and visually engaging chemical experiments, capturing the students’ curiosity and excitement.
Students also visited the chemistry laboratories and were introduced to the scientific directions of various research labs.
The event was organized at a high level and received very positive feedback from all participants. Such initiatives play a crucial role in motivating the younger generation to pursue science and make informed choices about their future careers.
