Summer internship season for ENU students was launched in the village of Koyandy, Akmola region

The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University had a grand opening of the field practice season for its students in the village of Koyandy, Tselinograd district, Akmola region. 260 first and second year students with majors in “6B05210 – Hydrology”, “6B05306 – Chemistry of Organic Substances and Polymers”, “6B07311 – Geodesy and Cartography”, “6B07314 – Urban Planning and Cadastre”, “6B05107 – Biology”, “6B05515 – Geography”, “6B05524 – Teacher Training” started their internships at the Golden Pheasant complex. The event is organized by the Career and Business Partnership Office and “Activetours” LLP, Astana.

The opening ceremony of the season was attended by enu Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Ardak Beisenbai who wished the students success in completing their internships.

“Congratulations on the opening of the summer field practice! To become a highly qualified specialist, it is important to combine theory with practice. In this regard, ENU provides you with the opportunity to put your acquired knowledge into practice. I wish you a successful internship! Study, gain experience!”, A.Beisenbai said in his congratulatory speech to the students.

According to Mels Abenov, Director of “Activetours” LLP, the Golden Pheasant complex is equipped with comfortable rooms, a landscape and necessary conditions for practice.

It should be noted that on this day 147 first and second year students majoring in “6B05209 –  Geography” accompanied by 5 supervisors left for summer field practice at the Parus camp in Zerenda, Akmola region, as well as 112 first, second and third year students with a major in “6B02208 – Archeology and Ethnology”, third year students majoring in “6B02205 – History” will have their archaeological and ethnographic practice in Abai region.

20 third year students with a major in “6B05210 – Hydrology” arrived at Kazvodkhoz in Taraz for an internship. 121 second-year students majoring in “6B05208 – Ecology and Nature Management” arrived for an internship at the National Research and Production Enterprise "Burabai".
