
ENU and Trento University are expanding cooperation














The L.N. Gumilyov ENU and Trento University (Italy) are expanding cooperation in the field of scientific personnel training. The parties agreed on this during the visit of the delegation of Trento University headed by the Director of the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences, Professor Gianluca Esposito. The meeting was attended by ENU’s Vice Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization Duman Aitmagambetov, deans of faculties, heads of departments and other university staff.
"We are glad to see you at the Eurasian National University. We have a fruitful partnership with 13 universities in Italy.
In 2019, ENU, the Italian Embassy and Eni signed a memorandum of cooperation, under which the Enrico Mattei Center for Italian Culture operates at our university. Today, Italian language courses are held at this center.
Since 2024, ENU has launched a new master's degree program "Green Energy Technologies" jointly with Eni (Arm Wind) and Eni Corporate University.
Since 2017, the Green Energy Management: Central Asia Edition Summer School has been held annually in cooperation with the University of Milano Bicocca as part of the international SILKWAY consortium.
We hope for fruitful cooperation, which will allow us to nurture the best scientists and researchers at the international level and strengthen further cooperation between our countries," Vice-Rector said.
In turn, Professor Gianluca Esposito spoke about the activities of Trento University, noting that the university has about 16,000 students, 25 bachelor's degree programs, 30 master's degree programs and 600 professors.
"I am confident that our partnership will allow us to combine our experience, support young scientists, develop academic mobility and participate in joint research," the delegate stressed.
At the end of the event, the parties signed a memorandum on joint training of doctoral students.
