
Department of “Environmental Protection Management and Engineering” took part in organizing the “Eurasian Climate Talks” Summer School in partnership with the German Embassy











From June 3 to 7, 2025, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted the Summer School “Eurasian Climate Talks”, co-organized with active involvement of the Department of Environmental Protection Management and Engineering and supported by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kazakhstan.
The program featured lectures, workshops, and panel discussions addressing urgent issues of climate change, biodiversity, sustainable natural resource use, and international cooperation in environmental protection. Particular attention was given to the role of science and education in fostering youth environmental responsibility and promoting green initiatives in Central Asia.
Faculty members delivered lectures, moderated discussions, and shared their research findings and teaching experience in ecology and environmental protection.
The Summer School brought together students, graduate students, young researchers, and activists from across Kazakhstan. The project served as a unique platform for knowledge exchange, climate dialogue, and joint solution development.
