Admissions Office of the Kazakh branch of MGIMO in ENU has started its work

The Admissions Office of the Kazakh branch of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) in ENU has started working on the basis of The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
From September 2025, the training of the first bachelor’s and master’s students of the branch of one of the leading international universities will start in Astana. Educational activities will be carried out in accordance with the high academic standards of MGIMO, with the involvement of both teachers from Russia and Kazakhstani specialists who have received special training in the Institute’s methodology.
At the master’s level, the branch offers two programs:
“7M04101 – Financial Economics and Financial Technologies”;
“7M07101 – Multilateral Institutions and Management of Global Technological Development”.
The duration of study in both programs is two years. There are 40 grant places in total, 20 for each program. Tuition is also available on a paid basis. Admission of documents for the master’s studies is open until the end of August 2025.
The study program includes international educational modules: undergraduate students will complete two semesters at MGIMO campuses in Russia, and graduate students will complete a two-month study module. Upon completion of their studies, graduates will receive a diploma of the state standard of the Russian Federation, recognized on an equal basis with the diploma of MGIMO throughout Russia.
At the initial stage, the Kazakh branch of MGIMO (MGIMO-Astana) will be located on the territory of The L.N. Gumilyov ENU, with subsequent relocation to a separate building.
On the day of the start of accepting documents, interviews with candidates for the master's degree were held. Representatives of the institute and the branch noted the high level of training of applicants and their purposeful interest in the proposed programs. This inspires confidence that the most motivated and capable applicants will be enrolled in the new MGIMO branch.
