
ENU held an international conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of RK
The Eurasian National University hosted the international scientific and practical conference "Trends in the Development of Civil Procedure and Arbitration in Kazakhstan and Other Central Asian Countries", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by deputies of the Parliament of RK, judges of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, representatives of the Institute of Parliamentarism, the Kazakhstan Union of Lawyers, the bar community, scientists from Germany, Italy, Russia, Taiwan and universities of Kazakhstan.
The two-day conference was organized by the ENU, the Institute of Parliamentarism, the Institute of Law of Eastern European Countries, the Institute of Legislation and Legal Information, and the Arbitration of Astana.
Opening the conference, ENU Vice-Rector for Socio-Cultural Development Lyazzat Tolegenkyzy noted:
"During the event, issues of improving civil procedure law and arbitration in Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries will be discussed. I am sure that the scientific meeting will expand mutually beneficial cooperation between researchers and practitioners from Central Asia and other regions."
Director of the Institute of Parliamentarism Natalia Pan, deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of RK Kairat Tastekeyev and Galiaskar Sarybayev also made congratulatory speeches.
"By strengthening an effective legal system, we have achieved economic growth and enhanced the well-being of society, establishing stability, harmony and peace in the country. The Constitution is the north star that preserves state independence and integrity, human rights and freedom. I am sure that new conclusions will be raised at the event regarding the improvement of civil procedure and arbitration," the senator said.
During the conference, foreign speakers spoke and congratulated Kazakhstanis on the upcoming holiday.
