Visiting Professor of Siberian Federal University conducted scientific seminars for ENU faculty and doctoral students

Cooperation with partner universities is an important part of ENU’s integration into the global educational and scientific space. So, since 2018, from the signing of the memorandum of cooperation between ENU and Siberian Federal University (Krasnoyarsk), the exchange of scientific experience has become a feature of the activities of not only the two universities, but an example of cooperation between ENU departments.

The Foreign Languages Theory and Practice Department and Russian Philology Department fruitfully cooperate in the person of Professor Veronika Razumovskaya with Russian and European universities. Scientific seminars conducted by the visiting professor V. Razumovskaya became a platform for the exchange of views and scientific discussions between the ENU faculty and St. Petersburg State University. The defense of the doctoral student G. Yerik, whose foreign scientific consultant is V. Razumovskaya, united professors: I. Karabulatova (Lomonosov Moscow State University), M. Polekhin (MGIMO), Enrique Quero Hervilla (University of Granada, Spain), T. Megrelishvili (Georgian Technical University), I. Mikulaco (Juraj Dobrila University in Pula, Croatia), E. Inanir  (Istanbul University).

The elective courses “Formation of a Multicultural Linguistic Personality” and “Translation Issue in Foreign Language Teaching” read by the visiting professor V. Razumovskaya for master’s students of the pedagogical direction (education program "Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages”), scientific seminars on problems of intercultural communication and belles-lettres translation for the teaching staff and doctoral students of the university became an impulse to joint articles of the visiting professor with ENU teaching staff and doctoral students.

As a foreign scientific consultant to doctoral students of the Russian Philology Department, the visiting professor read special courses on “strong” texts of the Russian literature in the aspect of translation. These topics within the dissertations of ENU doctoral students also influenced the nature of the scientific internship at SFU. Published in collaboration with the doctoral student of the Russian Philology Department U. Baiturina and Professor of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University I.V. Mokletsova article in the "Journal of SibFU" (Scopus, Q2) (https://elib.sfu-kras.ru/bitstream/handle/2311/150067/14_Baiturina.pdf?sequence=1) aroused the interest of the editorial board.
