
ENU and Cormack Consultancy Group Outline New Horizons for International Cooperation

A strategic meeting was held at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University with the leadership of Cormack Consultancy Group (CCG), a leading international consulting firm in higher education. The parties discussed key areas for strengthening their partnership and outlined concrete steps for the internationalization and development of the university's research potential.
The ENU delegation was led by Aidyn Abay, a member of the Board of Directors, and Duman Aitmagambetov, a member of the Management Board and Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization. Cormack Consultancy Group was represented by Gintaras Steponavičius, Director for Central and Eastern Europe, and Yerbol Suleimenov, the company's representative in Central Asia.
During the meeting, Vice-Rector Duman Aitmagambetov presented the main development priorities for ENU in its status as a research university. He emphasized the university's commitment to expanding international scientific cooperation, developing dual-degree programs with leading foreign universities, and attracting industrial partners, following the example of the successful collaboration with Eni on the "ENU-grad" campus project.
In turn, Gintaras Steponavičius spoke about Cormack Consultancy Group's extensive experience in establishing academic and scientific partnerships. The company collaborates with over 100 universities in the UK and Canada, including those in the prestigious Russell Group, and has successfully facilitated the opening of British university branches in Central Asia.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to implement a series of joint initiatives, including: The development of dual-degree programs, joint scientific research, and capacity building for staff, among others.
This meeting marks a significant step towards transforming ENU into a world-class research university and integrating it into the global educational and scientific landscape.
