Students of the dual degree program were honored at the ENU branch in Kyrgyzstan

The L.N. Gumilyov ENU branch in the Kyrgyz Republic held a festive event for students who completed the 2nd year and transferred to the 3rd year of the dual degree program in the specialties «6B01718 – Russian Language and Literature», «6B02307 – Translation Studies», «6B01721 – Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages». In the future, 29 OshSU students will continue their studies in Astana.

The event was attended by the OshSU leadership, the Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Osh Mukhtar Karibay, department heads and curators, parents, and students.

At the meeting, the rector of Osh State University, Professor Kudaiberdi Kojobekov noted:

«We have been closely cooperating with ENU as an excellent partner for several years now. The branch of L.N. Gumilyov ENU, which was recently opened with the participation of two presidents of the country, will give new strength and impetus to the education system. In addition to partnerships, our cooperation includes academic mobility and double degree programs. The double degree program, which was launched jointly with ENU, is bearing fruit today, the number of specialties and students is increasing. This academic year, 2 Osh State University master's students in the specialty «7M01719 – Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages» successfully defended their master's theses and received two diplomas. This is a great achievement. These searches will be continued in the future».

Consul General Mukhtar Karibay also emphasized the advantages of the double degree program for the unity and cohesion of the country, its spiritual space in the education system and wished everyone success.

During the event, the branch director Ainur Naimanbay explained the university's requirements and answered questions from students and parents, and wished the students good luck on their trip.
