ENU students went on a clean-up day as part of "Taza Kazakhstan" environmental campaign

Staff and students of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University joined the citywide clean-up day as part of the republican campaign "Taza Kazakhstan. Astana is a model of cleanliness and order", dedicated to the World Cleanliness Day.
The ENU has traditionally been an active participant in environmental initiatives, supporting the call of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, for the formation of a culture of cleanliness and environmental education. In his recent Address to the people of the country, the Head of State stressed the importance of involving all levels of society – from schoolchildren to students – in caring for nature. The national project "Taza Kazakhstan" has united millions of Kazakhstanis since last year, and its results are impressive: more than 860,000 hectares of land have been cleared, over 4 million trees have been planted.
Today, ENU students, along with residents of the capital, cleaned up garbage in parks, squares and streets in the districts of Saraishyk, Almaty and Baikonur. With enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility, they contributed to the cleanliness of the city and the improvement of the ecological situation.
ENU will continue to support initiatives aimed at landscaping, landscaping and environmental education, making every possible contribution to building a sustainable future for Kazakhstan.
