
Department of Chemistry welcomed a delegation of scientists from Tomsk State University























On 2025 September 23, the Department of Chemistry hosted an important scientific event — the visit of a delegation from the National Research Tomsk State University (Russia). The delegation included:
- Abdigali Abdimanapovich Bakibaev — Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor;
- Viktor Sergeevich Malkov — Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Head of the Laboratory of Organic Synthesis;
- Artur Eduardovich Ukhov — Junior Researcher;
- Ekaterina Alekseevna Befus — Master’s student.
On the same day, at 1:00 p.m., a scientific seminar was held in Auditorium 333 on the topic: “Development of Methods for the Synthesis and Analysis of New Composite Materials.”
Professor Bakibaev delivered a presentation on his scientific work, discussed jointly prepared dissertations, his own research, and highlighted the contribution of prominent Kazakh scientists to the development of chemistry.
During the visit, the guests also toured the research laboratories of the Faculty of Natural Sciences related to the field of chemistry, which opened opportunities for discussing joint projects and sharing expertise.
The event became an important step in strengthening scientific and academic cooperation between our universities, opening new prospects for joint research and training of young specialists.
