ENU Ranked Among Kazakhstan’s Top Universities in QS World University Rankings 2026

L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU) has once again demonstrated its academic excellence by being ranked among the top universities in Kazakhstan in the prestigious QS World University Rankings 2026.

The awards ceremony for the leading Kazakhstani universities took place in Almaty. Certificates and commemorative gifts were presented to representatives of 20 top institutions by Jason Newman, Chief Commercial Officer of QS, and Sergey Khristolyubov, Regional Director for Central Asia.

This year, ENU has shown significant improvement, entering the top 320 universities in the world among more than 1,500 institutions from 106 countries. Notably, the university was ranked in the global top 100 for "Employer Reputation", underscoring the high quality of its graduates and strong ties to the job market.

“The QS ranking is not just about numbers and positions. It’s a strategic benchmark that helps us align with the world’s best practices, assess our strengths, and identify growth areas,” - said Erlan Sydykov, Rector of ENU and Chairman of the Council of Rectors of Kazakhstan.

The QS awards ceremony not only recognized the achievements of Kazakhstani universities, but also provided motivation for further advancement in science and higher education across the country.
