Extended meeting of the Psychology Department to discuss doctoral dissertations

On September 30, 2025, an expanded meeting of the Department of Psychology was held to discuss doctoral dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the educational program "8D03103-Psychology" of the following doctoral students:

1. Turarova Gulnaz Ukmetbekovna. Topic: "Psychological predictors of volitional qualities in academically successful students at universities". Domestic scientific consultant: Aliya Saktaganovna Mambetalina – Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Acting Professor of the Department of Psychology, L.N. Gumilyov ENU; foreign scientific consultant: Asil Ozdogru - PhD, Associate Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Uskyudar (Turkey).
2. Gitikhmaeva Lyudmila Magomedovna. Topic: "Personality predictors of nomophobia in young people". Domestic scientific consultant: Aliya Saktaganovna Mambetalina – Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Acting Professor of the Department of Psychology, L.N. Gumilyov ENU; foreign scientific consultant: Irina Borisovna Gaivoronskaya - Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor at the А.S. Pushkin Leningrad State University (Russia).

The extended meeting was attended by the faculty of the Department of Psychology, related departments, as well as other universities. According to the results of the voting, all those present supported the applicants.

Dissertation research complies with the "Rules for awarding academic degrees" of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which are required for dissertations and recommended for defense.
