In his greeting, Rector of The L. N. Gumilyov ENU Yerlan Sydykov congratulated the participants on the adoption of the Law on Endowment Funds in Kazakhstan.
"We are moving towards stability and sustainable development. Universities should not depend on the state budget. Since we live in a competitive environment, we must have multiple sources of financing. The role of endowment funds is paramount in this," Rector emphasized.

Susan Holter, Chief Development Office of the University of Minnesota, demonstrated the strategic development model of the endowment in the format of using the donor pyramid model. S. According to the speaker, this will be the basis for building a trusting relationship.
