International Conference

On October 23, 2025, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an international scientific and practical conference titled “State Sovereignty and Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan: History, Modernity, and New Dimensions of Development.”

The conference was chaired by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, S. Nurbek. The scientific forum was attended by a representative of the United Nations, members of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, public figures, and scholars.

Doctoral students of the Department — G. K. Otynshieva and A. S. Pusyrmanov — as well as master’s students — S. Sunggatov, M. Genrikh, and Y. Nechaeva — took part in the conference and presented their scientific reports.

Professor of the Department of Constitutional and Civil Law, Doctor of Law, Zh. I. Ibragimov, supervised the students’ research works and delivered a report on issues related to the sovereignty of the Republic.

During the presentations, the participants discussed topics such as the level of legal awareness, the significance of sovereignty, the protection of human rights, and the prospects of digital law.
