A meeting was held at the Faculty of International Relations with representatives of the NAO "National Scientific and Practical Center "Til-Kazyna" named after Shaysultan Shayakhmetov. The theme of the event was "The strategic importance of IT projects in the context of digital transformation."
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the impact of modern digital technologies on society and the field of education, to determine the strategic role of IT projects and to increase the professional competence of students in this area.
The meeting was moderated by Gulnaz Tokenovna, Associate Professor of the Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan at the Faculty of International Relations. The event was opened by Acting Dean of the faculty, Aisulu Kupayeva, who spoke about the importance of artificial intelligence in the era of modern globalization.
The event was attended by Director General of the Til-Kazyna Center Zhumabai Makpal Kurmanzhanovna, head of the Center for Digital Transformation Serikzhanova Aigerim Telzhanovna, head of the Abai Institute Ainur Tolu, researcher at the Methodology Department of the Lab Zinedine Ayerke Sagyngalievna, as well as senior researcher at the Terminology Department Mahsud Orazgul Zhadigerkyzy.
During the meeting, the guests presented the main directions of the scientific and innovative activities of the center. In particular, the national language model KazLLM, the artificial intelligence assistant Til-Qazyna, methodological and IT projects for teaching the Kazakh language, terminological automated system and Qazcorpora.kz provides detailed information about the language corpus.
The speakers focused on the development of the Kazakh language in the digital environment, the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies and increasing the technological potential of the language. The international projects of the Abai Institute, the experience of teaching the Kazakh language to a foreign audience and the importance of digital educational platforms were also discussed.
The meeting became a useful experimental platform for students, undergraduates and doctoral students. The participants asked their questions and exchanged opinions on the directions of future cooperation.
