Guest Lecture and Film Screening by Professor Stefan Ziegler within the Framework of the III Eurasian Congress and the XII International Scientific and Practical School
On October 23, 2025, within the framework of the III Eurasian Congress on International Law and the XII International Scientific and Practical School “Current Issues in the Theory, Practice and Teaching of International Law,” Dr. Stefan Ziegler, Doctor of Law, Swiss Professor of International Law, and documentary film producer, delivered a guest lecture entitled “Peaceful Settlement of the Palestinian Conflict.”
During his lecture, Professor Ziegler addressed the legal and humanitarian aspects of the Palestinian issue, examined the role of international organizations such as the United Nations in promoting peace, and discussed possible diplomatic and legal pathways to sustainable conflict resolution in the Middle East.
As part of the event, Professor Ziegler also screened his own documentary films depicting life in conflict zones, including the areas affected by the Israeli separation wall.
The films, produced in active conflict regions, offered powerful visual and emotional insights that complemented the academic discussion, making the session one of the highlights of the Congress and the School.
