ENU has advanced to 61st place in the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2026

The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University has improved its position, rising to 61st place (65th position last year) in the regional QS World University Rankings: Asia 2026, confirming the stable development and strengthening of its authority among 1,526 Asian institutions. This year, 44 Kazakhstani universities were included in this rating.
ENU demonstrated the most impressive result, ranking 26th in Asia in terms of "Reputation Among Employers." This result clearly demonstrates the high quality of graduate training and their demand in the labor market, which is a priority for a modern university.
It should be noted that the indicators included in the TOP 50 are "The Ratio of the Teacher-Student Number" and "The Proportion of Foreign Teachers".
The University has made a significant breakthrough in the field of international cooperation and student mobility: these criteria are among the top 150:
"The Share of Students Leaving for Study" showed the largest increase – plus 90 positions. This reflects the success of exchange programs and academic partnerships.
The indicator "The Share of Students Coming to Study" also increased significantly – by 39 positions.
The "Share of International Students" improved by 33 positions, highlighting the growing attractiveness of the university for applicants from other countries.
"ENU’s success in the QS World University Rankings Asia is a powerful incentive for further work to improve the quality of education and the university's scientific influence in the Asian region," Duman Aitmagambetov, ENU Vice Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization said.
It is also worth emphasizing the growth of the indicators "Index of International Scientific Collaborations", "Number of Citations Per Publication", "Number of Publications Per Teacher".
