Final Conference on Professional Pedagogical Practice of PhD Students

On November 7, 2025, the Department of Pedagogy of the Institute of Higher School of Education held the final conference on the professional pedagogical practice of doctoral students. The pedagogical practice took place over 10 weeks — from September 1 to November 8, 2025.

The main goal of the professional pedagogical practice was to study the fundamentals of pedagogical and teaching-methodological activities in higher education institutions, as well as to master teaching skills in conducting various types of academic classes in disciplines corresponding to the doctoral students’ field of study.

Second-year doctoral students of the educational program 8D01103 – “Pedagogy and Psychology” presented reports on the work completed, in accordance with the list of reporting documentation. During the practice, the doctoral students demonstrated a high level of professional competence, research activity, and responsibility in performing pedagogical tasks.

Special attention during the practice was given to mastering the modern educational ecosystem SMART.ENU.
SMART ENU is an innovative model of a “smart university” that integrates digital technologies, scientific research, and pedagogical innovations. The use of this system contributes to the development of digital competence among future educators and the formation of modern approaches to organizing the educational process.

The final conference marked an important milestone in the professional development of doctoral students, demonstrating their readiness for teaching and research-pedagogical activities in the context of a modern digital university.
