Open House Day

In accordance with the career guidance plan of the History Department of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, an Open House Day was organized on November 15, 2025. Several schools in the city of Astana participated in the Open House Day: School-Gymnasium No. 4, School-Gymnasium No. 49, Lyceum School No. 50, Lyceum School No. 61, School-Gymnasium No. 87, and students from the 11th grade of Comfort School No. 101 with their career counselor. First, there was an opening ceremony in the Kultegin Atrium of the Main Building, followed by a tour of the Museum of the History of Writing and the Gumilev Museum.

After that, the students arrived at the Faculty of History building, where the dean of the faculty, Bekmaganbetov O.Zh., informed them about the activities and achievements of the faculty. Then, Seitkazina K.O., the head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, and Sarsembekova A.S., the acting head of the Department of Archaeology and Ethnology, spoke about the work of the department, the specialties, and provided valuable information about the history and advantages of the specialties of history, archaeology, and ethnology. At the end, a tour of the faculty was conducted, and M.G. Khabdullina presented the work of the Akishev Research Institute. At the end of the event, school career counselors gave a speech and expressed their gratitude, noting the high level of organization.
