Opening of the Course for Educational Program Managers

On November 15, 2025, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University launched the first-ever intensive course in the university’s history for managers and developers of educational programs (EP): “Growth Mindset in Designing Competitive Educational Programs Taking into Account the Requirements of the UHEP RK Register and Strengthening the University’s Position in the Market and Global Partnerships”. This course will be conducted online/offline from November 15, 2025, to December 20, 2025, totaling 72 hours.

The opening ceremony was conducted by: 

- Aitmaganbetov D.R. — Board Member – Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization;

- Kashkynbay B.B. — Director of the Department of Academic Affairs;

Organizer and lead trainer of the course:  Almagul Kanagatova — Founder of Global Nomad Education;

Co-organizer:  Department of Competencies and Educational Program Management. 

Key objectives of the course:  

1. Training on regulatory requirements and practical inclusion of educational programs in the Register of the National Center for Educational Statistics and Assessment of the Republic of Kazakhstan (UHEP RK);
2. Analysis of best national and international practices in developing competitive educational programs;
3. Development of EP passports, competency matrices, and annotations;
4. Conducting a project sprint for redesigning selected programs and defending final products;
5. Post-course support for participants to successfully implement the developed programs.
