Meeting with Department Heads on Teachers’ Knowledge Assessment (TKA) Held at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University

A meeting with department heads on Teachers’ Knowledge Assessment (TKA) was held at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

The meeting was chaired by G. Smagulova, Head of the Career and Business Partnership Department. Heads of departments participated in the event.

The agenda included the following items:

• Discussion of the results of TKA completed by 2025 graduates;
• Organization of additional classes and preparation of the schedule for TKA for 2025–2026 graduates;
• Review of the content of test assignments at departmental meetings;
• Conducting explanatory work among students on the importance of TKA and approving the schedule of meetings;
• Creation of a database of tests for core professional subjects;
• Discussion of conducting trial testing for graduating students on the National Testing Center (NTC) website.

During the meeting, specific proposals and decisions were made aimed at improving the teachers’ knowledge assessment system, ensuring high-quality preparation of students for TKA, and strengthening coordination between departments.

Following the meeting, responsible persons were tasked with developing a schedule for explanatory activities on TKA and ensuring their systematic implementation.
