
Guest lecture by judge Tukubayeva A.S. "Internet Fraud as a Factor in Entrepreneurial Risks"

On November 25, 2025, as part of the "Decade of Economics and Entrepreneurship," a guest online lecture was held at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University for fourth-year students of the educational program 6B04105 - Economics of Entrepreneurship and Business. The guest lecturer was Ainagul Seilbekovna Tukubaeva, Judge of the Talgar District Court of Almaty Region and Master of Laws.
The lecture was organized by Professor Zh.B. Rakhmetulina as part of the course "Entrepreneurial Risks."
During the lecture, Judge A.S. Tukubaeva The lecture covered the main forms of online fraud: phishing, fake online stores, social engineering, investment scams, and cryptocurrency schemes. It was emphasized that these phenomena pose a serious risk to entrepreneurs, as they lead to financial losses, erosion of customer trust, and reputational damage.
Particular attention was paid to legal aspects: criminal and civil liability for online fraud, including complicity through the provision of accounts and e-wallets to third parties ("dropping"). These issues are directly related to developing students' legal literacy skills in business and risk management.
The guest lecture demonstrated the effectiveness of integrating the practical knowledge and experience of judicial professionals into the educational process. Students were given the opportunity to consider the relationship between legal risks and entrepreneurial activity, which strengthens their readiness to work in the digital economy and contributes to the development of sustainable risk management models.
Lecture by Judge A.S. Tukubaeva's program not only became an important educational event, but also contributed to the development of future economists' competencies in the field of legal protection and risk management.
