ENU – champion of the Republican Student Football League

The team of the Eurasian National University became the champion of the republican student football league Qazaqstan Student League, defeating KazNU football players in the final with a score of 5:0. Thus, ENU students secured a pass to participate in the international Football World Cup among students, which will be held in 2026 in the UAE. Athletes will have to defend the honor of Kazakhstan on the world stage.   

During the Republican student football league, the ENU team beat Astana Medical University (score 19:0), K.Sagadiyev University of International Business (10:1), Atyrau University of Oil and Gas (6:0), Esil University (11:1) and Astana IT University (4:2).

The tournament, held from November 20 to 26 in Astana, was attended by 13 teams from ENU, KazNU, Astana IT University, SDU, Astana Medical University, K.Sagadiyev University of International Business, Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, Esil University, Nazarbayev University, Egyptian University of Islamic Culture Nur-Mubarak, Kazakh National University sports, "Turan" University, Almaty University of Humanities and Economics.   

The tournament is organized by the Kazakhstan Football Federation and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The purpose of the competition is to strengthen and unite the student community, prepare students for regional and international competitions, and strengthen ties between universities.
