ENU organized a job fair: companies presented more than 100 jobs

A job fair was held at The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The event was organized by the Academic Affairs Department, the Career and Business Partnership Office in cooperation with the Labor Mobility Center and the Astana Zhastary Youth Resource Center.
The main purpose of the fair is to establish a direct link between university graduates and employers, provide information about vacancies and assist in their employment.
ENU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Ardak Beisenbai, noted the importance of holding such an event:
"Today, the employment of young specialists is one of the most pressing and priority issues in our country's policy. This not only places great responsibility on the training of highly qualified personnel, but also requires their competitiveness in the labor market.
The University annually trains highly qualified personnel in accordance with the needs of the country's economy. Currently, we are establishing close partnerships with leading domestic organizations, institutions and enterprises. These connections open up great opportunities for the future of young people. There are extensive offers for professional practice and employment. To date, more than 1,200 cooperation agreements have been concluded with institutions for professional practice in a three-level education system (bachelor's degree, master's degree, doctoral degree). This academic year, 6,460 students are graduating from the university, including 4,692 bachelor's degree graduates, 1,408 master's degree students and 361 doctoral students," Vice Rector said.
The event was attended by over 100 employers and over 2,000 students.
