ENU students study drone creation technologies and master their assembly in practice

Students of the Space Engineering and Technologies Department of the Institute of Physical and Technical Sciences of The L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University will undergo an internship at the R&D Center Kazakhstan Engineering LLP, which manufactures UAVs and robotic systems for military and civilian needs. Thanks to the opening of a branch of the ENU department on the basis of the Kazakhstan Engineering R&D Center, future specialists have the opportunity to hone their theoretical knowledge in practice and gain skills in the field of engineering physics.
The opening ceremony of the branch was attended by the leadership of ENU and the R&D Center "Kazakhstan Engineering", as well as teachers, scientists and experts.
"I am pleased to announce that the Institute of Physical and Technical Sciences of the Eurasian National University has opened an educational program in the field of UAVs, developed by the university in collaboration with the R&D Center "Kazakhstan Engineering". There are currently 21 students enrolled in the program. If students learn how to control drones and assemble them, then in the future there will be an opportunity to improve the technical properties of UAVs," Ardak Beisenbai, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of The L. N. Gumilyov ENU said.
In turn, Gani Bayseitov, General Director of the Kazakhstan Engineering R&D Center, noted that this is not just the opening of a new educational branch, but the formation of a single space where education, innovation and practice are combined.
"Here, students, undergraduates and young scientists will be able to receive education in accordance with international standards, participate in real research projects, work with modern equipment and technologies, as well as participate in the product development process with a dual purpose. This is a unique opportunity for young people and the basis for training a new generation of engineers for our country," the speaker emphasized.
Director of the Institute of Physical and Technical Sciences Yerik Nurmoldin and Chief Researcher of the Scientific and Technical Research Department of the Military-Industrial Complex "R&D Center "Kazakhstan Engineering Abai Tasbulatov also spoke during the meeting.
The parties also discussed the prospect of conducting joint scientific projects.
