
Orientation Day — a traditional event dedicated to the beginning of the academic year and the presentation of business education programs — was held at the Graduate School of Business of L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.











During the meeting, international MBA, Executive MBA, and DBA programs were presented, implemented in collaboration with foreign partners – Eklore School of Management (France) and Netherlands Business Academy (Netherlands).
The event aimed to introduce new students to the educational programs, values, and development strategy of the business school, as well as to strengthen partnerships between the university, the business community, and alumni.
The program included speeches by university and business school leadership, interactive sessions, leadership and management training, as well as motivational meetings with alumni and business experts.
Welcoming speeches were delivered by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuanishbek Yesekeev, ENU Rector Erlan Sydykov, Astana IT University Rector Altair Akhmetov, NACG Rector Bakhytzhan Abdiraiym, ENU Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization Duman Aitmagambetov, and Director of ENU Graduate School of Business Armyash Nurmagambetova.
Among the speakers were Ulysse Ouvrieu, Director of International Programs at Eklore School of Management, business psychologist Ruslan Bisengaliev, Executive Director of the Central Asian Association of Corporate Secretaries Zhardem Kurmangaziev, Managing Director of Finance at KazPost JSC Azamat Keskinbaev, and Head of Marketing and Alumni Relations at ENU Asemgul Smailova.
Assistant to the President of Kazakhstan Kuanishbek Yesekeev shared his personal learning experience, noting that he completed an MBA program in the USA:
“Studying in the MBA program was an important stage in my professional and personal development. This program taught me to think strategically, see the bigger picture, and work effectively with people. Thanks to the knowledge I gained, I realized how important it is to develop leadership and communication skills. I wish you perseverance, self-confidence, and a desire for continuous growth,” he said.
ENU Rector Erlan Sydykov emphasized the importance of quality business education:
“Today, it is especially important not only to receive education but also to strive for deep knowledge and the ability to apply it in real life. ENU Graduate School of Business provides all the conditions for students to develop leadership qualities, managerial thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset. I am confident that the school’s graduates will become in-demand professionals and contribute to the development of the country,” said the rector.
At the end of the event, students and participants received certificates and shared their impressions.
It is worth noting that since 2024, ENU Graduate School of Business has been operating under an agreement between Eurasian National University and the Netherlands Business Academy, preparing future leaders and specialists in management and entrepreneurship.
