ENU students took II place at the city arm wrestling and kettlebell lifting competitions

The team of The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University took II place in the team competition in arm wrestling and kettlebell lifting among students.

ENU students Tamerlan Baubekov, Ilya Palevich, Valery Cherepanov, Yerkebulan Akhmet, Madyar Amangeldi and Nurlybai Zhaketayev participated in the competition.

The coach of the team is Talgat Baizakhov, senior lecturer of ENU’s Physical Training and Sports Department.

120 students from the capital’s universities participated in the tournament, which was held in Astana as part of the "Law and Order" campaign. The purpose of the sports competition is to promote a healthy lifestyle and prevent drug addiction among young people.
