ENU’s Kazakhstan History Department arranged a regional olympiad for school leavers

202 learners from Pavlodar, Kokshetau, Stepnogorsk, Kosshy, Koyandy and Astana took part in the event.

The opening ceremony of the olympiad was attended by ENU’s Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ardak Beisenbai, as well as Head of the Career Guidance Office, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee Lyazzat Yegeubayeva.

Following the results of the competition, students were awarded I, II, III degree diplomas.

In addition, during the olympiad, issues of teaching history were discussed as part of a methodological seminar with school teachers of history.
