“Ustaz” coworking space for teachers is functioning at ENU

The Eurasian National University is having “Ustaz” coworking center for teachers. The multifunctional space has become a comfortable place for individual and collective professional activities, negotiations and sports leisure.

ENU creates modern open spaces for the development of creative thinking and creative skills. To date, there are 8 coworking spaces on the university territory. “Ustaz” creative space for teachers was opened on the initiative of the university management during the “ENU Family Day” alumni meeting in May 2023. The coworking space is located on the first floor of the administrative building and is designed for 110 seats. The coworking furniture was made by the university staff.

“The primary task for the university is to create comfortable conditions for students, teachers and the staff. Coworking is a part of the large socio-cultural space of our university. Every year their number increases. We plan to create open spaces in each of our buildings. I hope that a comfortable environment in our coworking spaces will give not only the activity of creative work, but also increase the efficiency of collective and individual work,” University Rector Yerlan Sydykov said.

There are three zones in the coworking space for teachers. The first is intended for negotiations and events, the second for work and the third one for leisure.

It is worth noting that over the past year, 4 coworking spaces for students were opened at the university.
