On December 19, 2025, an Open Day was organized at the Faculty of Information Technology (FIT) of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University for 11th grade students of the city's schools.
The event was held at a high organizational level. The applicants were presented in detail the educational programs of the faculty, as well as the opportunities and prospects for learning. Information booklets with basic information about the faculty, as well as presentations on each department and bachelor's degree programs were prepared for the participants.
During the event, laboratory stands used in the educational process and software used in the educational and scientific activities of the departments were demonstrated.
The Open Day was attended by deputy deans, heads of departments, as well as those responsible for career guidance at the faculty and departments. The meeting began with a welcoming speech from Aizhan Nurollayevna, a specialist in the career guidance department. The event was continued by the faculty's career guidance officer, Adil Kokenovich.
The students showed an active interest and received comprehensive answers to all their questions. The open day was a success and became a useful information platform for future applicants.
