The third scientific Kazakh-Japanese-Chinese geotechnical workshop (XHE3W) will be held on July 15-17, 2026, at the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering and the Geotechnical Institute of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

As part of the cooperation between L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Kazakhstan, the Technological Institute of Hachinohe in Japan, and Xinjiang University (XJU) in China, the 3^d Kazakh-Japanese-Chinese geotechnical workshop (XHE3W) will be held on July 15-17, 2026, at the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering and the Geotechnical Institute of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

The primary objective of the scientific workshop is to foster conditions for international cooperation and scientific exchange, thereby advancing collaborative research and the implementation of cutting-edge scientific outcomes.

It should be noted that, within the framework of the agreement, the first scientific geotechnical workshop was held at Xinjiang University (XHEW, 2024) and the second at the Technological Institute of Hachinohe (XHE2W, 2025).

The materials of the scientific workshop presented at XHE3W, which have successfully passed all stages of review, will be published in a special issue of the peer-reviewed scientific journal Technobius entitled «Geotechnical Engineering and Materials».

Technobius (https://technobius.kz/index.php/tech/index) is a peer-reviewed, open-access electronic journal (ISSN 2789-7338, registered on 18 October 2021), indexed in the Science and Higher Education Quality Assurance Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Crossref, Google Scholar, e-Library, and CyberLeninka.
