The first straw eco-panel production facility in Kazakhstan has been launched in Taiynsha

On December 15, 2025, the country's first pilot production facility for eco-friendly construction boards made from non-feed straw was launched in Taiynsha (Taiynshinsky District, North Kazakhstan Region). The new technology opens up opportunities for sustainable construction, agricultural waste recycling, and the development of local production. It will also help develop Kazakhstan's knowledge-intensive manufacturing and increase import substitution in the country, reports a Kazpravda.kz correspondent.
