
ENU sums up the outgoing year results

The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University is completing 2025 with outstanding results on a global and national scale. The university has strengthened its position as a leading national research university and an educational hub that nurtures a new generation of professional staff. We present the most important achievements of The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in the past year.
According to the results of the QS WUR global educational ranking, ENU has risen to 317th place.
In the international ranking of QS World University Rankings: Asia 2026, ENU reached the 61st line.
ENU's education programs are included in the TOP 200 of the QS World University Rankings by Subject.
ENU education programs are in the TOP 3 of the Atameken NPP ranking – 2025.
For the first time, Eurasian National University has entered the global ranking of the Times Higher Education: Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2026. The ranking measures the contribution and commitment of the world's universities to interdisciplinary science.
89% of the 198 ENU education programs that participated in the rating of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating were recognized as the best.
A significant success of the year was the opening of a new complex of student houses with 2,565 beds and dormitories with 282 beds. This made it possible to provide all students with affordable, modern and comfortable housing.
The year 2025 was fruitful for strengthening the scientific potential of The L. N. Gumilyov ENU. Thus, the university's scientists have launched 4 innovative scientific projects in production. One of them was a plant for the pilot production of eco-panels made of straw in Tayynsha, North Kazakhstan region.
The launch ceremony of the updated PARAM BILIM 2 supercomputer of the ENU, which is used for modeling and analytical calculations in more than 30 scientific fields, took place in Akkol, Akmola region.
This year, ENU scientists have conducted more than 300 scientific studies, including 9 international projects.
For the second year in a row, ENU employees have been among the leaders of the ranking of the 50 best scientists in the country. The list is headed by the ENU academician and professor Ratbai Myrzakulov.
One of the worthy victories of the year: 6 student startups were accelerated at the ENU Business Incubator.
For the first time in the CIS, the scientific journal of The L. N. Gumilyov ENU "Eurasian Journal of Physics and Functional Materials" began to be published on the world's prestigious Elsevier platform.
This year, about 5,000 graduates of bachelor's and master's degrees have received the long-awaited ENU diplomas.
ENU has produced the first specialists in the field of artificial intelligence. They were 28 bachelor's degree graduates.
ENU and Nankai University have launched joint educational programs in economics and international business and strategic trade control.
A branch of The L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University has been opened in the Kyrgyz Republic. The branch at Osh State University trains specialists in the field of ecology, information and communication technologies and the service sector.
The grand opening of the Inclusion hub coworking space took place at ENU. The hub provides support to students with special educational needs, as well as people in need of social and psychological assistance.
The ENU football team became the champion of the republican student football league Qazaqstan Student League.
The student theater “Shanyrak” was awarded the title of the national theater.
The achievements of 2025 clearly demonstrate the high potential of The L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, its dynamic development and stable position in the international educational arena.
