On the eve of the New Year, 10 young scientists of Kazakhstan were awarded apartments in the A-City residential complex in Astana on behalf of the Head of State for their significant contribution to the development of science.
As part of this significant initiative, three young scientists of The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University have been provided with housing. This is clear evidence of the appreciation of the contribution of ENU scientists to the development of the native science.
The owners of the new apartments are:
Aizhan Akhmetova, an ENU researcher, Head of the Talapker Academy, Institute of Physical and Technical Sciences;
Temirulan Alibai, an ENU researcher, Acting Associate Professor of the Technical Physics Department, Institute of Physical and Technical Sciences.
Young researchers actively contribute to the development of the native science by combining research and educational activities. Their work is aimed at the implementation of innovative projects, the training of scientific personnel and the expansion of international scientific cooperation.
Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurbek Sayasat delivered a congratulatory speech during the ceremony. He stressed that this initiative is an important step in supporting young scientists, strengthening the country's scientific potential and creating favorable conditions for engaging in science.
"Government support will be a powerful incentive for the professional growth of young researchers and will contribute to the further development of Russian science. May the new apartments become not only a symbol of comfort, but also a solid foundation for stability and well-being," Minister said.
At the end of the event, a Q&A session was held, during which topical issues of science development, support for young scientists and financing of scientific projects were discussed.
